The fluxies period hot water bottle is covered with a plush faux-fur material, to keep you warm and comfy when you need it most. It also includes a handy front pocket which can be used to warm your hands, hold your phone, or even keep your favourite snacks close by!
Our period hot water bottle is made from natural sustainable rubber and manufactured to the British Standard 1970:2012. Heat applied to painful areas can help to slow muscle contractions, as well as encouraging your body to relax. The fluxies wearable hot water bottle isn’t just useful for periods, but can relieve pain from exercise and other causes as well. Try the fluxies hot water bottle today, and see what it can do for you!
When not in use, be sure to drain any water out of your hot water bottle, and store it in a dark place. Store it flat and unfolded, without placing any heavy items on top of it, if possible.
Our wearable hot water bottle cover can be washed at 30°C. However, we don’t recommend placing the cover in the tumble dryer.

A hot water bottle is a safe and natural way to alleviate cramps and provide pain relief on your period. Applied heat is a great way to soothe muscle contractions that cause period cramps, and the cosy feeling it evokes can help you to relax, minimising pain and stress. As long as you are using your period hot water bottle safely, you can rely on your hot water bottle for safe and effective relief from period pain.

A fluxies wearable hot water bottle can stay warm for between 2 to 6 hours, depending on the environment you are in. The bottle will cool down more quickly if you're using it outside.
However, if you're using the bottle under a warm duvet, with the fluxies hot water bottle cover, you will get a longer period of warmth.
-
Boil the water and wait approximately 4 minutes for the water to cool slightly. Hold the fluxies bottle at the neck and slowly pour the hot water to a maximum 2/3 capacity. Carefully release any excess air, and secure the stopper to prevent leaking.
If you're using your water bottle to keep cool, simply fill it halfway with cold water, and pop it in the freezer for 1-2 hours, and stay cool all day long!

It isn’t recommended to fill your hot water bottle from a just-boiled kettle. You should fill your hot water bottle with water that is hot, but not boiling. A kettle which has been boiled recently, but has been left for 10 to 15 minutes to cool down may be a safer option. However, the safest way is to use a household thermometer to check the temperature of the water before adding it to your hot water bottle.
Experts recommend that you don’t use water which exceeds 80°C in your hot water bottle. Anything below this temperature should be safe, as long as the bottle is made of approved materials and has been kept in good condition.
